Develop Your Own Treatment For Night Sweats

If you are suffering from night sweats you need to investigate the cause and pursue a treatment.
However, one of the challenges of resolving sleep hyperhidrosis is that the causes are so numerous and varied.
Remember that everyone is unique and many of the causes and treatments for sweating at night will need to be similarly unique.
Men and Women Perspire For Different Reasons While a wide range of triggers are shared by both men and women, there are plenty that tend to be unique to each sex.
The most obvious example of this is menopause.
But along the same lines as menopause, women suffer a number of hormonal shifts that may directly or indirectly lead to sweating at night.
For example, rheumatoid arthritis is far more common in women than men and recent research indicates that may be due to some of the same hormonal shifts that cause hot flashes during menopause.
Men, on the hand, also experience their own hormonal shifts that may trigger sweating while sleeping.
Sometimes this is a result of weight-lifting and sometimes it may be due to the still little known phenomenon sometimes referred to as andropause disorder.
And while some triggers should equally effect men and women, statistical evidence suggests that some triggers like nicotine and alcohol seem to cause night sweats in men more than women.
Children and Adults Perspire for Different Reasons Children, in most cases, should suffer from this far less than adults or even adolescents.
If a pre-adolescent child suffers significant sweats at night on a consistent basis I urge you to take him or her to the doctor right away.
Beginning with adolescence, adults are far more likely to experience sleep hyperhidrosis.
This is a result of a wide variety of reasons.
For example, children are far less likely, one would hope, to consume some of the toxins that cause night sweats, like alcoholic beverages or nicotine products.
But adults also experience ever-increasing hormonal shifts as they age, which may be the single most common cause of night sweating.
Diet and Lifestyle The last of the divergent paths of night sweats suffering involves the nebulous topic of lifestyle.
In this we include diet, so are you diabetic or gluten intolerant? Are you a vegetarian? And we include general lifestyle attributes, like are you a workaholic? Are you a weight-lifter or a professional athlete? Your sex, your age, your diet and your lifestyle all help isolate and designate the kind of night sweats you may be experiencing.
So as you and your doctor determine a diagnosis and then design an appropriate night sweats treatment, keep in mind the many things that make your circumstance unique.
