People who are not obese can generally go through successful joint replacement surgical treatment. But for individuals who could benefit from it yet are obese, this is not always advised. At the very least it's rather a risky treatment since the heavy weight on the synthetic joint can cause difficulties. The threat here is the heavy load on the artificial joint could cause it to become unstable.

High blood pressure is a very common occurance among those who are obese. It appears that pretty much every major function in the body is challenged. The reason behind this as it pertains to the cardiovascular system is the excess fat tissue still needs blood for nutrients and oxygen. So that consequently causes the heart to work much harder so it can provide what is necessary. Not surprisingly, one's heart must produce significant amounts of pressure to keep all that tissue oxygenated. There can also be a rise in the heart rate as it works in reaction to all that need.

The predicament of obesity is an overall highly negative effect on all the body's organs. These are simply a few of the negative effects taken from a long list of medical conditions resulting from severe weight gain.
