    • Zurich has amongst the worst delays in Europe, and the management company is actively seeking solutions. While weather and air traffic routings via German air space play a major part, the company is coordinating efforts among the airlines to more efficiently handle peak travel flights.

    History

    • First opened in 1948, the Zurich Airport has been constantly upgraded. A major expansion program was completed in the early 2000s, which included a new shopping and travel center. Passengers voted it the world's eighth best in 2006.
