Characteristics

• There is only one true hotel in the Mad River Valley. However, there are many large inns and lodges which offer comparable accommodations and the same guest services as hotels. Such services may include meals and skiing or golf packages. None of the accommodations in the Mad River Valley are chains; all are independently owned and operated.
  
  

Sugarbush

• The singular hotel in the Mad River Valley, the Clay Brook Luxury Hotel, is located at Sugarbush Resort, mere steps from the ski slopes. Choose from many sizes of accommodations, from studios to five-bedroom suites. Timbers, the in-house restaurant, serves three meals a day, plus cocktails. Work out at the fitness center or take a dip in the outdoor heated pool or one of the two hot tubs. Kids will appreciate the game room with air hockey and a Playstation. Pets can be accommodated with advance notice. Sugarbush offers a second lodging option, the Sugarbush Inn. Guests at this smaller complex have access to the same amenities offered by the Clay Brook Luxury Hotel a short distance away.
  
  

Warren

• The town of Warren is only a few minutes drive from Sugarbush Resort. Located on Sugarbush Access Road, the aptly named Sugar Lodge is closest to the ski area at less than half a mile. Your stay includes a daily continental breakfast buffet, Wi-Fi and access to the outdoor pool and hot tub. Enjoy an après ski beverage at the beer and wine bar. Packages are available. Note that the Sugar Lodge is a non-smoking property and doesn't allow pets. In operation since the 1850s, The Pitcher Inn offers standard rooms as well as two-bedroom suites. Bathrooms feature Jacuzzis and radiant floor heat. There is Wi-Fi throughout and package deals are available. At the Slide Brook Lodge and Tavern you can partake in dinner and drinks on-site and just walk upstairs to your room afterward. The Lodge is equipped with Wi-Fi and has an outdoor hot tub. Note that some rooms have shared baths. Wake up to a complimentary full breakfast at The Golden Lion Inn. Choose from standard rooms or efficiency units with kitchenettes. Packages are available and pets are permitted in some rooms.
  
  

Waitsfield

• North of Warren, the town of Waitsfield is a 10-minute drive from both Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Awake to a complimentary full breakfast at the 1824 House Inn and enjoy dinner at the on-site restaurant, the Barn Door. The 1824 House Inn offers banquet and meeting facilities. The Inn at Lareau Farm also serves a free full breakfast, as well as afternoon snacks. Much of the food is sourced from the Inn's on-site organic farm. Wi-Fi is available.
