Caracal Club

• The Caracal Club, based in Bountiful, Utah, specializes in purchasing a wide variety of properties and investment ventures, including United States real estate, international real estate, energy, small businesses and venture capital. As of September 2010, the investment club offered members a chance to invest in Brazilian condominiums, distressed U.S. real estate properties and an environmentally-friendly oil refinery. The club allows its members to pre-screen investment purchases. Additionally, the investment club allows outside companies and individuals to submit prospective investment opportunities for the club. In lieu of meetings, the Caracal Club's blog allows its members to communicate with management and discuss new investment opportunities.

• Southern Utah Real Estate Investing, in Saint George, Utah, invests in commercial and residential real estate properties. The club's memberships include voting right on investment deals, as well as access to proprietary real estate software, discounts on real estate services and access to state-required investment forms. • The Wasatch Area Real Estate Investment Association (WAREIA) located in West Jordan, Utah, offered free memberships as of September 2010. The club invests in residential real estate property. WAREIA holds weekly lunch meetings, twice-monthly evening meetings and monthly training events. Meetings and seminars discuss investing-related topics, including seller financing, marketing to prospective clients, the foreclosure process and how to relate to real estate agents, among others.
