Hi, I'm Linda Mendoza from Fantasies Hair Salon, and today I'm going to share with you some tips and techniques on how to do a quick morning updo. A great way to do an updo in the morning is throwing on some braids into your hair. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to just braid by grabbing a big section whether it's on your left or your right side and I'm going to create a nice French braid going backwards. I'm going to grab a section and then divide it into three to start off my braid. Now as you can see this braid is pretty thick, this braid is going to incorporate most of the hair and putting all the hair into one place without having it go loose and it's still looking cute into a style. So I'm going to French braid going backwards and as I'm going backwards I'm also going sideways, creating a different style to my updo. Now braids put and hide the hair away into place and it always adds a really nice look into any type of updo that you incorporate braids in. You can add two braids in your hairstyle, you can add five braids in your hairstyle as long as you get creative and you start practicing then that will do the works. Now some braiding I'm also going to get a little bit towards my left side. So I'm going to bring my braid over to the opposite side. It does not have to be a perfect braid or a perfect line and once I reach on my left side next to my neck I'm just going to continue braiding to the ends and tie it with an elastic, great. So now I have my left side left and I'm also going to do a braid and as I'm braiding, I'm going to bring it towards the top and over of the opposite braid to create a nice style. So once again I'm going to grab thick sections diagonally, divide it into three and continue braiding. Okay so now that I've done my second braid I'm going to bring it over and underneath and I'm going to open a small indentation in between my last braid and underneath and I'm going to kind of tuck in the second braid and hide it somewhere inside and I'm going to pin as I go and now with my other braid, I'm going to bring it around and also hide the excess hair anywhere I can find a small indentation to tuck it in and I'm going to pin as I go. With your open bobby pins you can loop a little bit of the left braid into the right braid that way you can fully lock in your style together. And now for my final touches I'm just going to add a little bit of hairspray and if you guys have any flyaways with the Crew pomade you guys can just directly apply by grabbing a tiny bit and spreading it throughout your palms and going over the braid because this will pop out your hairstyle and it will also hold the hair into place for the rest of the day. I'm Linda Mendoza and I just shared with you some tips and techniques on how to do a quick morning updo.
