Red Brick Brewing (formerly Atlanta Brewing Company) is made right here in Atlanta and can be found in most major grocery stores and liquor stores in the area.
Tastings and tours are $10 and include a souvenir glass.

Perhaps Atlanta's best known beer, SweetWater has fans near and far. They craft a wide variety of beers including lots of limited-edition specialty creations. In 2011, SweetWater's facility underwent a huge overhaul creating a bigger and better experience for visitors to the brewery.
Brewery tours are $10 and include a souvenir glass and six tasting tickets. Tours run about 30 minutes and the rest of the time is for tasting.

Ok, so Terrapin isn't exactly located in Atlanta, but it's just a short drive away in Athens, GA and can make for a perfect day trip. Terrapin has a pretty extensive reach and can be found in most stores.

Tours are offered Wednesday - Saturday from 5:30 - 7:30 (last admission 7 p.m.), Tours are offered every half hour beginning at 6 p.m.
Year round, Terrapin brews Rye Pale Ale, Golden Ale, Hop Karma Brown IPA and Hopsecutioner IPA. Their seasonal brews include Sunray Wheat, Pumpkin Fest and Moo-Hoo. They also brew up lots of creative special editions throughout the year and take on collaborations.

Jailhouse Brewing Company is located in Hampton, Georgia - right down near Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Jailhouse is open for tours on Saturday from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The beers you'll find at Jailhouse include Slammer Wheat, Mugshot IPA and Breakout Stout. The also have a Solitary Confinement Series of limited edition brews.

There are many other Atlanta-based beer brewers that don't have large facilities for you to tour, but that's no reason not to try their delicious beers. Also, be on the look out for one of the latest brewery success stories in town, Wild Heaven. Their beer can be found at many local bars and they'll be opening a brewery in the Decatur area before too long.
