• Certain Australian universities offer mixed learning, a combination of online classes and in-person meetings, according to Deacon University and APM College of Business and Communication. Open University Australia offers all courses online but does require students living in Australia to attend exams in person at their exam venues. Depending on their location, students can make alternate arrangements but the service will not administer exams online.
  
  

Considerations

• Depending on the university, students in online distance learning university programs can apply for financial aid to pay for classes through FEE-HELP, an Australian Commonwealth Government loan that defers tuition fees for undergraduate and graduate students. Only citizens or permanent residents may apply for FEE-HELP.
