WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO INVEST MONEY RIGHT NOW?
Before I answer the question where is the best place to invest money right now I'll tell you where you shouldn't invest money.
Beware of those guaranteeing outrageous returns, especially on certificates of deposit (CD); ordinary investors have lost millions due to the fraudulent selling of CDs. People like you and me who were promised abnormally high returns will be lucky to see their money back. The investors made the mistake of not doing their due diligence.
If they had checked over the internet they would have found legitimate CDs. The trouble with CDs is their low yields, just above inflation in some cases. They are usually a safe investment though I don't recommend them for smaller investors because they yield not much more than a savings account.
However, in these current climes it doesn't hurt to have a savings account you can call upon in case of an emergency. I would suggest putting the equivalent of six months wages in it if you have that much cash to spare. If not try to have at least two months wages in liquid form during these uncertain times.
An alternative to savings accounts and CDs is investing in stocks…online education stocks. These are not as affected by the economic climate as other stocks and if you search online for the biggest players in the market you'll find they are situated around the globe and can be invested in through brokerage firms.
As always it is about what your investment goals are and your tolerance to risk. Small investments of fewer than 10k need to be kept liquid and not tied up in long term investments. Countries to look toward include China, Japan, Russia and Brazil as well as India.
