Install Replacement Lamp

• 1). Turn off your LG television and unplug it. If the TV has been on, let if cool for at least 60 minutes.
  
  
• 2). Locate the lamp cover on your LG DLP television. Check your user guide for your specific model's lamp cover location.
  
  
• 3). Loosen and remove the screws securing the cover. Take off the cover.
  
  
• 4). Loosen and remove the screws securing the lamp bulb assembly.
  
  
• 5). Grab the assembly by the handle and gently pull it out of the television.
  
  
• 6). Install the replacement assembly into the television. Replace and tighten the screws.
  
  
• 7). Replace the lamp cover and secure it with the screws you removed.
  
  
• 8). Plug the television back in and turn it on.
  
  

Reset Lamp Counter

• 1). Press and hold the "Menu" button on the television's front panel, then press and hold the "Menu" button on your remote. Hold both buttons until the on-screen Service menu appears.
  
  
• 2). Release the button on the remote first, followed by the button on your television set.
  
  
• 3). Press and hold the "Mute" button on the remote, then press and hold the "Enter" or the "OK" button on your television's front panel. Continue holding both buttons until the Lamp Life Hours appears on your TV screen.
  
  
• 4). Release the "Mute" button followed by the "Enter" or "OK" button.
  
  
• 5). Press the "Select" button on your remote to reset the hours. Press "Select" again when asked to confirm you wish to reset the lamp hour counter.
