My Honda CB250 Won't Start

    • 1). Look on the gas tank side of the motorcycle. Most motorcycles will have an "on/off" switch for the fuel lines. Make sure that your CB250 doesn't have the fuel lines turned off.

    • 2). Roll the bike back and forth. Listen for any gas rolling around in the gas tank. If you don't hear any gas, fill the gas tank and try to start the bike.

    • 3). Adjust the CB250 choke. The choke lever should be next to the ignition switch on your CB250. Set the choke to the "on" position and start the bike. You might have to play with the choke if the bike has been in cold weather.

    • 4). Remove the seat and use a battery tester to test the bike's battery. Connect the positive end of the tester to the positive end of the battery. Connect the negative end of the tester to the negative end of the battery. Press the "Test" button on your tester for a reading. Replace the battery if needed.
