Summer Is Coming So Get Out The Sandals
Spring is just around the corner and hopefully it will this year be followed by a hot and glorious summer but in the U.

there is always an element of doubt.
In some countries the weather is much easier to predict.
For example, in eastern Mediterranean countries such as Turkey and Greece the temperature rises from the end of the cold winter months of December, January and February to spring like conditions from the middle of March.
By the middle of April in this part of the world it is usually possible to put away all winter clothing and rain coats in the knowledge that hot days and warm nights are a certainty until the following end of October and beginning of November.
Throughout those seven months of summer only scanty clothes and summer sandals will be needed and even if it does rain it is so rare that people stand half-naked in the streets just to feel this summer rarity and to enjoy a welcome cooling shower.

on the other hand, just as it feels like summer is really here there can be times in August when the wind changes direction and the days feel almost winter like.
On those days sandals are certainly not the desired footwear and boots are more the order of the day.
Sandals used to come in just one design and were always natural brown leather with a large side buckle but all that has changed with designs today to suit all tastes.
Those clumsy looking shoes of old have been replaced by stunning and sexy looking pairs for ladies these days, lightweight and delicate looking they are truly great to look at as well as to wear.
