Attach the craft wire to each flower by wrapping it several times around the base of the flower where the stem begins. Take care not to detach the bloom from the stem when winding the wire.

    • 4). Wrap floral tape around the stem and wire, winding tape from the bottom tip all the way to the top where the bloom is.

    • 5). Cut several pieces of 1-inch wide ribbon in 4-inch to 5-inch pieces. Tie the ribbon pieces into small bows.

    • 6). Cut as many 4-inch lengths of wire as you did ribbon. Thread the wire through the middle of each bow so that equal wire hangs on both sides. Twist the wire twice at the base of the bow.

    • 7). Begin to assemble the corsage, arranging the flowers in the style that you want. Use floral tape to secure the flowers and greenery together. Attach the small bows by wrapping the wire around the main stem.

Make a large bow for the corsage using the 2-inch wide ribbon. Leave enough hanging ribbon for the tail of the bow and pinch the ribbon and twist it, making a loop and securing it between your thumb and forefinger. Pinch and twist the ribbon again, making another loop with your other hand.

    • 9). Continue pinching, twisting and looping the wire until have a full bow pinched between your forefinger and thumb. With your free hand, slide a piece of craft wire through the loop in the middle of the bow. While still securing the bow with your fingers, twist the wire behind the bow several times. Cut the bow from the ribbon, leaving enough of a tail to match the beginning tail.

Connect the bow to the base of the corsage with the wire and cover the wire with floral tape. When you are satisfied with the corsage, place two corsage pins through the back of the corsage in the shape of an X, using the stems to hold the pins. The corsage is now ready to pin to the dress. If you want the corsage to be a wrist corsage, secure 1 foot of 2-inch wide ribbon to the back of the corsage, centered with equal amounts of ribbon hanging on either side, with wire, a needle and thread or a hot glue gun. You can then tie the corsage to the wrist.
