How do I Make a Rake to Attach to a Lawn Tractor?
- 1). Place the 4-foot end of the fence between 2 studs. Starting 1-inch from the end of the stud, drill in a screw every 11 1/2 inches.
- 2). Repeat step one on the other end of the fence so that you have a 6-foot piece with boards attached to both ends.
- 3). Hammer a nail half way into the 2-inch side of one of the studs 2 inches from the end. Place the rope so that it is hanging 2-inches over the edge and bend the nail over the rope. Hammer the nail down over the rope so that the rope is held tightly and tie a knot in the rope around the nail.
- 4). Repeat step 3 on the other end of the stud so that the rope is attached on both ends of the stud and has some slack in the middle.
- 5). Find the center of the rope by holding it up with your finger and moving your finger along the rope until the board is level. Tie a loop in the middle of the rope just big enough to get around the ball hitch on your lawn tractor.
