    Vintage

    • A comical vintage shot will get attention when used on your business card.

The vintage look is always an attention getter whether you want to use an image of an antique camera or a vintage photograph of an old-timey photographer. Vintage photo images bring a sense of history to your business and make the viewer feel like you have professional pride and knowledge of the industry. Use an antiqued ivory or cream business card blank with your vintage image on the left hand side of the card. Add all your pertinent business information on the right side of the card including your business name, phone number and any specialties you may perform.

    Your Best Shot

    • A scenic landscape can make a breathtaking business card front.

Whether it is a wedding image, a child's portrait or an artsy landscape, use one of your own photos on your business card to show off your skill. Especially vital if you specialize in one form of photography, such as weddings, you can leave contacts with a sample of your work that will have them calling to see more. Consider using a two-sided business card to give the most room on the front of your card to your image, and then add all your business details on the back of the card.

    Logo

    • A bold logo will make your business stand out.

A logo can help brand your business and make your work instantly recognizable. Consider having an artist create a line drawing of a camera or film roll, or do a play on your name or specialty to create a one-of-a-kind graphic you can use on your business card as well as on T-shirts, promotional brochures and office windows. Brainstorm to get many ideas to choose from and carefully select your logo. Place the logo on your business card on the left hand side with your name, phone number and website on the right side of the card.

    Frame Border

    • A gold framed card makes it an instant classic.

Use a cream colored business card with a classic gold gilded frame border. Your business card will look like a work of art in and of itself when your business information is framed up like an old classic. Ask your printer to use a gold metallic ink on the frame of your card, or, for the small business, add some gold highlights yourself with a gold metallic pen. Your business card will stand out when you add your text in a deep purple for a historic, royal look.
