The continuous buzzing and ringing in your ears is enough to drive you crazy.
What starts off as a minor irritation that comes and goes gradually gets worse.
Until it starts to take over your life.
When you are talking to someone or listening to the television it just starts and if you suffer from it you will know what I am talking about when I say the buzzing and ringing can be so bad that you cannot hear what is going on around you at times.
All you want is for it to stop and there are several ways in which you can tackle tinnitus and even make it stop.
Different people are affected by it in different ways.
In my case it started by coming and going every few weeks for a minute or so then just stopped.
It was a minor irritation and so occasional that I soon forgot about it.
That was until it became more frequent and then almost continuous, to the point it was keeping me awake at night and literally driving me crazy.
This is the way it always begins.
You need to tackle it as soon as it starts and before it gets worse.
Unfortunately, unless you are in the very lucky minority, it will get progressively worse, unless you take action.
The most common cause of tinnitus is listening to loud music, either at home or in a nightclub, or even at a pop concert.
This is where it usually begins.
It can also be induced by working in a factory around noisy machinery, working with or near to noisy hydraulic equipment, or working in other loud environments.
These will all cause ringing in your ears.
To stop this occurring wear earplugs if you work in an extremely noisy environment.
If you listen to music through headphones keep the volume low and if you go to rock or pop concerts or nightclubs do not get too close to the speakers and protect your ears.
If you find you are suddenly struggling to hear people then you should leave where you are immediately as this is a sign that your ears are taking a battering and you are not just at risk of tinnitus, but of losing your hearing.
Continual exposure to this sort of noise will damage your ears and once this happens hearing loss and tinnitus are next, unless you are extremely lucky.
When you get it you might try to live with it at first, but after a while it becomes impossible.
Prescription medicines just end in the drawer and you get frustrated and try to accept it.
There is no need to do that when there are solutions available that will work, not just to reduce the buzzing, but to stop it.
Get rid of the ringing in your ears, permanently.
