Motorcycle Race Bike Safety - It"s No Joke!
Ask any young race motorcycle rider about the rush they get from their crotch-rocket and they will become animated in their explanation.
But in that rash of high-testosterone and carefree attitude is someone who also knows the danger, even if they refuse to think rationally while riding at a 130 plus mph.
So, you ask, why do they do this, do they have a death wish or something? Amazing you bring this up, I just met a retired law enforcement officer and we discussed vehicle safety everything from the new blue tooth devices initially to the helmet laws for motorcycles.
In motorcycling there is a saying; "There are those who have been down and those who will" and yes "_ _ it happens!" No one is immune, and those who take risks increase their chances 10-fold.
I have a steal-rod in my femur bone, yep, Motorcycle accident, racing, yes one of those "crotch rockets" zero-60 in 3.
4 seconds.
They are an adrenalin rush indeed, I cannot even explain how exhilarating they are to race, but with such a great opportunity to live life to the fullest, comes the utmost responsibility.
Safety first, don't skimp on safety, I guess I am luckily "living proof" that if you take risks and do not heed this warning, you'll pay one way or the other! If you own a crotch rocket, please go get some professional training, and take it easy on the street.
These bikes are fun, no doubt, I've definitely had my share, but I've also learned to respect the ominous power and speed of these machines, and so should you.
