Acne on the Chest
Some people say they would rather have acne on chest than on their face, because at least, if it is located on their body it could be covered with clothes.
But actually, it is very unsightly to have them on the chest area? What if you wanted to wear some revealing clothes that show off your cleavage? You have to stick to wearing regular clothes just to hide them.
Aside from this, it is more forgivable to have some pimples on the face because it is normal and expected, but on the body, it is almost weird to have them.
Chest acne is more difficult to treat than facial acne because the skin is quite different and there are not many acne products specifically made for those areas.
That is why the best option is to prevent them.
Acne are caused by a combination of dirt, oil, and clogged pores.
One should always exfoliate the skin to prevent any unwanted materials from blocking your pores.
Second, you should always wash your skin thoroughly right after some hard core sports or exercise to get rid of the sweat.
Also while you still have the acne, avoid tight-fitting clothes and materials that make you sweat even more.
It is best to stick to cotton t-shirts or tops.
Before going to bed, apply some overnight acne cream on these spots to help you treat acne.
Then use facial wash as well, to clear them off in the morning.
Some people apply baby powder on their chest area, because it helps absorb oil or sweat.
However, make sure that you are not allergic to baby powder.
Some people recommend unscented baby powder because they are said to be suited for sensitive skin types.
Avoid lathering your body with too much lotion or cream as it would only cause it to produce more oil.
Instead wash them with body wash with moisturizers and skip the lotion.
Make sure also that areas that would come in contact with your body should be clean and washed regularly, this includes towels, body scrub, blankets, linens, pillow cases and so forth.
These small tasks may be too tedious to remember but imagine how many sexy clothes you could wear once you have cleared off the acne on chest.
