Why God's Favor is Important: By Lizzie Ducking- the Bible say that we have favor with God and with men.
He will cause People to show His Children favor, they will go the extra mile to assist us.
An example, one morning I was awaken out of my sleep by a horn blowing when I heard it I also heard the garbage truck in front of my house and immediately I realized that I hadn't taken the trash out to the road.
I jumped out of bed, put on my robe and shoes and hurried to the back for my trash can.
In the meantime the trash truck had back to get the neighbors trash and while I was struggling with my trash can they returned to my house.
The man saw me and came up in my yard and took the can from me and emptied it the other man brought the can back to me while I stood in my yard.
They didn't have to do that, not by the company's policy but by God's word they did.
It was that extra mile, so favor will cause People to go the extra mile for Christians.
We will get what we expect.
If we expect favor we'll get it, the problem is sometimes we'll overlook the little things then we will begin to think that we are not receiving favor so we'll let down our expectation.
We should be very mindful and thankful for those little things for by them greater things will follow.
The word of God says to not despise small beginnings, in other words be thankful for the small things.
I remember one day I was walking I needed some money and I said to myself, wouldn't it be wonderful if I found 5,000.
00 dollars.
I continued to walk a little further and there was a penny on the ground, just as I was about to step over it and ignore it I heard the Lord say, don't despise small beginnings.
I picked the penny up and thanked the Lord for it then I said; now I am closer to the 5,000 dollars than I was a minute ago.
I didn't get the other money instead He gave me favor with man to get my needs met.
The favor of God will open doors for us that no one can shut.
He will make a way in the wilderness for us and give us water in dry and baron lands.
His favor is more valuable and precious than silver or gold.
