A Natural Treatment For Anxiety and Panic Disorder is Possible - Here"s How

A natural treatment for anxiety and panic disorder is completely possible for people who are prone to bouts of anxiety and panic attacks.
I have found that medicine is often completely unnecessary in dealing with these manifestations of extreme stress, and almost all people can regain control of their lives through natural methods alone.
  • The first step to healing is to recognize (and BELIEVE) that there is nothing physically wrong with your body.
Your system is simply reacting to adrenaline flooding through your veins whenever your fight-or-flight response is triggered, and the attack itself is no more harmful than moderate exercise.
Dismissing your panic will allow the attack to end that much sooner.
It might take you a trip to the doctor to rule out heart or respiratory trouble, or visits with a counselor to make you truly believe this, but you will keep suffering from constant attacks until you know you're just having a panic or anxiety attack.
  • Next, learn how to control your body.
You know how to control your breathing, and you can even control your heartbeat to a certain extent, something I found out when I was hooked up to a biofeedback machine.
You don't need to get that technical, but you truly can control your body's responses.
And, like my old psychologist told me, you can't have a panic attack while your body is relaxed.
    It just can't happen.
If you can calm your body, your panic attack dissolves.
Find out what calms you down, whether it's a massage, a good book, making love, or listening to classical music, and remember that feeling.
Recall how relaxed your shoulders felt, how blissfully empty your mind was, how at peace you were with everything, and force yourself to recall that feeling in the midst of your panic attack, when you can't even imagine what being calm or happy feels like.
  • Moreover, if it's just too hard to get your mind to relax, calm your body down at the very least.
Slow, deep breaths are all you need, no matter what it might feel like.
    Relax your muscles.
Remind yourself that this is a passing feeling.
It feels like you're dying, but that is not true, and the sooner you can convince yourself of that, the sooner your panic attack will be over.
If you start panicking because you can't seem to stop the attack, just remember one last thing - you can't stay in a panic attack forever, and no, it won't kill you.
Your body can only stay riled up, in extreme panic mode, for so long.
The body adapts to any situation, and after at most twenty minutes, your heartbeat will decrease, your breathing will slow, and you will start to feel normal again.
The evolutionary fight-or-flight response is very effective at preparing you for the run or the fight of your life, but it just doesn't last forever.
So if all else fails, just endure your attack, reminding yourself that it's agony now, but it won't be for much longer, despite how much you seem to be working yourself into a self-sustaining cycle of anxiety.
And then read this article again, and try the natural treatment for anxiety and panic disorder again.
I promise you will improve with practice, and you will gain control of your body and your emotions again.
