The word ecology refers to the study of the environmental systems.
In the world that we live in today, the environment is deteriorating fast.
There are many reasons for this.
We have become careless about protecting the greenness of our surroundings.
In the past few years, there has been mass construction which has led to a lot of trees being cut down and little heed has been given to the adverse effects on the environment.
As a result, we face some immense environmental problems: the numbers of floods in the world have increased, the tracts of forests have diminished and we are in severe danger of wiping out everything on the earth that is the reason behind our existence and supports our daily life.
This does paint a very bleak picture but the good part is that there are many countries in the world where they have realized that we are going nowhere with this and that we need to start to take measures which will result in the betterment of the environment.
Ecology, the study of the land, can therefore help to protect what we have when it used in conjunction with landscaping.
This means that we need to revisit our daily lives and add plants and greenery back to them.
All this urbanization has in reality left us devoid of plants and trees in many parts of the urban parts of the world and thereby we do not have access to their benefits.
Neutral Plains, which contain certain species-wealthy grass fields as well as zones of non-succeeded parkland, cover below four percent of the United Kingdom.
These plains indicate fatalities in stock in Scotland and Northern Ireland nevertheless improvements in England and Wales.
Total thirteen percent of Neutral Plains was mainly transformed to Arable, Broad leaved or Urbanized Comprehensive Habitats amid 1990 and 1998.
The floristic atmosphere changed, by increases in lofty, modest shrubberies overhead expense of extra characteristic paddock shrubberies.
With the help of ecology surveys, geological specifications and habitats surveys can be used to replant the trees and bring back much needed greenery and biodiversity to our lives.
Ecological landscape techniques can be used to practice sustainable forestry and to make plantations minimize some of the loss.
Through this, we can ensure that the cities are planned in a way which does as little as possible damage to the environment.
Landscaping combined with ecology can also go a long way in ensuring that the damage done to the environment in the past is corrected to some extent: afforestation of barren areas can help to bring them back to life.
We can therefore ensure a better world for future generations to live in.
I've gathered this research using online resources and found few of them quite useful.
I have mentioned a one great resource on landscaping and ecology in my custom signature.
