Kids will do anything in their power to ward off boredom.  With an arsenal of action figures, video games, and maybe even a few books, kids duke it out with boredom on a regular basis.  However, kids are limited. Without a car, they can't always go see friends.  And if they're really young, you can't just drop them off at the movies or the mall.  Sometimes you need to intervene and make sure your kid's fun levels don't fall victim to boredom.

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, kids are starting to get antsy for Thanksgiving and winter break.  For a few days, maybe even a week, they'll be free from the classrooms and homework.  How could that not be fun? Well, as you know, kids have short attention spans.  Their battle against boredom can only last so long. So, naturally, they turn to you. "Mom I'm bored" or "But I have nothing to do, Dad." Sound familiar?

The recipe to kids' fun is simple: Keep them entertained.  But that can be easier said than done, as you whip up Thanksgiving dinners and frantically shop for Christmas.  Sometimes you need a break as well.  Luckily, you can kill two birds with one stone. Or, well, one trip—a trip to an indoor water park resort.

When you hear the word "resort," your gut reaction might be, "Oh, no, I don't have the time or budget for that."  But resorts come in many different forms.  They don't have to be on the sandy shores of some remote island. These days, more and more people are vacationing closer to home.  And indoor water park resorts allow you to do without sacrificing the fun.

From soaring down waterslides to jumping over waves, indoor waterparks deliver first-class fun.  And because they're resorts the fun doesn't stop there.  Most indoor water park resorts offer action-packed arcades, mouth-watering restaurants, soothing spas, and more.  When you book a room at one of these resorts, you receive exclusive access to a potpourri of fun.

So, if you're scrounging for ideas to supply your kids with fun this holiday season, think outside the box.  Take one night out of their break and take them to a nearby indoor waterpark resort. Not only will your kids have a great time while they're there, but they'll be the ones coming back to school saying "guess what I did beak."  In fact, you might even be saying the same thing when you go back to work.
