My Short Story in Combating Candida Albicans
Someone was curious about my story in combating candida albicans.
She asked me if I would share how long I have been working on candida, how severe it was when I started and how much progress I have made.
Well, I was slept 15 hours a day and woke up exhausted, like I never slept.
I would go to a friend's house and fall asleep.
Muscle pains that were chronic and very severe in general all over.
I also have chronic prostate problems and urinary tract problems, irritable bowel syndrome, severe colitis, chronic constipation and diarrhea, severe chest pains with no cause ever found, migraine headaches, severe depression, oral thrush so thick I was choking on my own tongue.
This lasted for more than 10 years.
I changed diet 3.
5 years ago, learned I had candida maybe 2 years ago and have been working on it since.
I would say I am 80-90% well right now.
Most of the problems above are gone or minimal.
I sleep like a baby and wake up refreshed.
Each day, I make more progress.
It has been a very long and hard road.
Every second was worth it because I am investing in my own future.
I was willing to give up everything to get well and I pretty much did.
Now, I would not go back to the sickness or the lifestyle even if you paid me.
I have had my ups and downs.
I never intend to go off this diet.
If you have chronic candida and want to get well, then the changes are for life (my opinion).
Your old ways helped get you sick.
Why would people want to go back? I have stuck very close to what I doing now all along.
When I felt bad, it was a good thing! I would feel bad for a time and then get better than I had ever been.
It is part of the healing process and die-off does not just happen once.
