Internet Marketing is a Numbers Game
I often receive e-mails from affiliates who are concerned that they are not recruiting quality business owners.
Many of these affiliates have been involved in network marketing for months, and others for as little as 2 weeks.
Here is the key concern that they all have: "Everybody I sponsor does nothing.
This does not work and, therefore,I'm going to quit".
Many of these affiliates have sponsored less than three individuals; they have never sold or bought a product from themselves and invested zero dollars into their business! Imagine that.
Quitting after 4 or 5 "no's"? I can, however,understand this based on my own experience in network marketing for eight years.
It certainly is easy to become discouraged when things don't happen as fast as you would like them to, but let's be realistic.
Although there can be many reasons that new affiliates may not do anything (except to sign-up in your business as their last official act), what it boils down to is "numbers".
As of January 1, 2009, there are 6.

Four people are born each second.
Of all of these people, should we really think that that nobody else in the entire world has an interest in network marketing? Of course not.
There are plenty of qualified individuals out there! Imagine putting all of those people into the top of a giant funnel, weeding out those with no sincere interest and seeing what comes out at the bottom.
Those that do come out of the bottom are your winners and will do something.
The rest will not.
But, as you can see, you have to go through a LOT of people to get to those that matter.
It does little good to only be concerned with those left in the funnel...
only those that come out.
If you concern yourself too much with the masses, you, indeed, will become like the masses yourself.
Even if you have to go through tens, hundreds, or even thousands of people, you WILL eventually find the "yes, I will do what you do" people.
Keep on trying, moving forward, avoiding negativism and following your dream.
It will pay off handsomely.
