Wrinkle Cream is Rapidly Evolving

Only in the past two years have people begun to separate skin care and wrinkle creams.
Sure wrinkle creams are certainly an aspect of skin care, however consumers are looking at wrinkle creams and anti aging products as an entire different entity than regular skin care products.
This separation indicates just how much the world of wrinkle creams has evolved over the past few years and it certainly sets the stage for the years to come.
The author examines how consumers and experts began the concept of anti aging treatment and how it has changed recently, and where we expect it to go in the future.
Anti aging treatment and wrinkle creams began as little more than a moisturizer and the knowledge that over exposure to the sun was causing long term effects on our skin.
The concept of moisturizing your skin was originally thought to maximize your anti aging efforts.
Experts were recommending using moisturizer twice daily to keep skin soft, healthy and supple.
It was also recommended that when you were out in the sun for prolonged periods of time to use a sunscreen or wear some sort of SPF.
That soon changed into the understanding that the sun is not just harmful in prolonged periods of time, it is harmful each time you leave the house.
That meant creating moisturizers that included SPF so that you could treat your skin, keeping it healthy and also protect it from the sun.
During the research needed to created these moisturizers however, experts learned quite a bit more than they had originally known.
Scientists began to understand what a free radical is and what it does to the cellular level of your skin.
It became obvious that it was important to protect against the free radicals from the sun, and also the environment.
What was also discovered was that it was going to take more than moisturizer to counteract the damage being done by these free radicals.
Protection can prevent future damage, but would not heal existing damage, nor would a moisturizer alone.
That mean a whole new type of product would need to be created.
Thus began the creation on many different types of wrinkle creams and age defying serums.
While many were originally ineffective and of course some still are today, experts gradually learned what worked the best, and the formulations needed to optimal results.
While there were many ingredients tried and tested, eventually experts realized that peptides and stem cells are the best combination of ingredients to achieve the results you are looking for.
Peptides are much more established as a wrinkle cream ingredient, yet stem cell use is the latest, most advanced ingredient that the industry has seen.
While skin care and wrinkle creams are now considered two different things, many companies have products that are both basic skin care, such as acne treatment, as well as offering fantastic wrinkle creams or age defying serums that treat wrinkles and other signs of aging.
What was once as simple as moisturizing daily has now evolved into using high technology ingredients as advanced as Stem Cells.
What a long road wrinkle creams have traveled in such a relatively short period of time.
While the bulk of anti aging treatment has certainly been discovered by now, that does not mean that there will never be further advancements.
As we learn more about stem cells and other regenerative treatments, the products are sure to continue to improve, but never again will the industry be so naïve in believing that a moisturizer will do the trick.
From here on out wrinkle creams will only grow more and more advanced, delivering increasingly effective formulas that work in a fraction of the time they took two years ago.
