About Birthstones & Flowers for Each Month
- The birth-month flowers for January are carnation or snowdrop. Violet and primrose represent February, and March's flowers are daffodil or jonquil. The birth-month flowers for April are daisy or sweet pea.
- The birth-month flowers for May are lily of the valley or hawthorn. Rose or honeysuckle represent June, and July's flowers are larkspur or water lily. The birth-month flowers for August are gladiolas or poppies.
- The birth-month flowers for September are aster or morning glory. Calendula or cosmos represent October, and November's flower is the chrysanthemum. The birth-month flowers for December are narcissus or holly.
- The modern birthstones for the first four months of the year are garnet for January, amethyst for February, aquamarine for March and diamond for April.
- The modern birthstones for the second four months of the year are emerald for May, pearl for June, ruby for July and peridot for August.
