    London Business School

    • The London School of Business was ranked No. 1 in the world for its global MBA program in 2010, according to "Financial Times." The publication ranked global MBA programs based on placement, research, faculty members with a Ph.D., international exposure and number of international board members.

      London Business School offers an executive global MBA program that is the best in the field. Students have the opportunity to study abroad in one of two areas of the world. Students can focus their studies on commerce in the Europe/North America sphere of business or they can focus on the Asian business sphere. The school works with Columbia University in New York to offer students the opportunity to study at two world-class institutions. In Asia, students study at the University of Hong Kong to develop international focus. Additional opportunities are available to study in places like Germany, China and South America. Although the programs differ slightly for each geographic area, the curriculum is consistent between programs offering core courses in areas such as executive leadership, leading and managing change, strategic management and decision sciences.

    • The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business was ranked No. 2 on the "Financial Times" global MBA rankings for 2010. The Wharton School offers international opportunities and focus for undergraduate and graduate students. The school offers a global immersion program for its graduate students, allowing them to study in many locations across the globe. The Wharton program works with other top business schools in the world such as France's INSEAD. Students also can study for short periods in places such as Singapore, China, Chile, Spain and Israel, plus the London Business School. The international focus of the curriculum is evident in courses such as international finance, global strategic management, comparative management, geopolitics and multinational management.

    • Harvard's Business School was recognized as a top global MBA program by "Financial Times" in 2010. The publication ranked Harvard No. 3 on its global MBA rankings list for 2010. What sets Harvard apart from other global MBA programs is the degree to which it global focus is embedded within the rest of the MBA program. Harvard has added a "global initiative" to its MBA program, but much of the program has an international focus. Like other top global programs, Harvard allows students to study in other countries such as China, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates and Rwanda. Courses with an international focus include analyzing financial aspects of the global market, the energy of business and geopolitics and entrepreneurship and global capitalism.
