Even if your wedding is only a few weeks away, I promise you that it's very possible - and actually quite easy - to lose a significant amount of weight quickly and safely...
so that you look your best on that special day.
know for many women - myself included - that this is the one time in your life that looking and feeling your best is really important.
So, that's why I want to give you some tips to get you there, safely and enjoyably.
OK, so the first thing we need to do is start getting our bodies burning more fat.
The good news is, you don't have to hit the gym hard to burn fat.
The main thing you need to do is simply adjust your eating plan.
This doesn't mean cutting out foods or starving yourself, it just means eating certain foods which speed up your metabolism and keep you feeling fuller for longer.
So first of all, I'm going to show you the exact foods that increase your metabolism and therefore increase your body's ability to burn fat instead of storing it.
By eating these types of foods, I found that it puts you in a great position mentally and physically to lose weight quickly before that special day.
You might wish to save this article so you can follow along.
Here are the first steps: #1 Drink iced water Ice-cold beverages prompt the body to burn more calories during digestion.
Research suggests five or six glasses of water on the rocks can use up an extra 10 calories a day.
That might not sound like much, but it adds up to nearly half a kilo or one pound of weight loss per year - without dieting.
You can get the same benefit by drinking iced tea or coffee, as long as you forego the milk and sugar.
#2 Eat regular small meals throughout the day Eating more really can help you lose weight - eating more often, that is.
When you eat large meals with many hours in between, you train your metabolism to slow down.
Having a small meal or snack every three to four hours keeps your metabolism cranking, so you burn more calories over the course of a day.
Several studies have also shown that people who snack regularly eat less at meal times.
#3 Eat spicy foods Spicy foods contain chemical compounds that kick the metabolism into high gear.
Eating a tablespoon of chopped red or green chilli pepper can temporarily boost your metabolic rate by 23%.
Some studies suggest the effect only lasts about half an hour, but if you eat spicy foods often, the benefits may add up.
For a quick boost, spice up pasta dishes, chilli and stews with red-pepper flakes.
#4 Eat more protein The body burns up to twice as many calories digesting protein as it uses for fat or carbohydrates.
Although you should eat a balanced diet, replacing some carbs with lean, protein-rich foods can jump-start the metabolism at mealtimes.
Healthy sources of protein include lean beef and pork, fish, white meat chicken, tofu, nuts, beans, eggs and low-fat dairy products.
#5 Drink black coffee If you're a coffee drinker, then you'll be pleased to know that it can increase in your metabolic rate.
In one study, the caffeine in two cups of coffee prompted a 66 kilo (10 stone) woman to burn 50 extra calories over the next four hours.
Just make sure you drink it black.
If you add milk, sugar or flavoured syrups, you'll take in far more calories than you burn.
#6 Drink green tea Green tea or Oolong tea contains substances shown to rev up the metabolism for a couple hours.
Research suggests drinking two to four cups of either tea may push the body to burn an extra 50 calories each day.
That adds up to 2.
2 kilos (five pounds) of weight loss in a year! #7 Avoid pure crash dieting Crash diets - those involving eating fewer than 1,000 calories a day - are disastrous for anyone hoping to quicken their metabolism and lose weight safely.
Although these diets may help you lose weight (at the expense of good nutrition), a high percentage of the loss actually comes from muscle.
And that's not good, because the lower your muscle mass, the slower your metabolism.
So what happens as a result? Your body burns far fewer calories (and gains weight faster) than the one you had before the diet.
Conclusion...
So follow these #7 guidelines to kickstart your weight loss effortlessly.
But remember, even though you can lose weight from certain popular crash diets, you're also cutting out everything your body needs.
The end result? You are left feeling tired, weak, pasty and low in mood.
So ask yourself, is that how you want to feel leading up to - and during - your wedding day? Clearly, there's a few more things you need to do if you want to melt off that fat AND be in the best mental and physical state for your wedding.
For example, meal plans will help you tremendously, along with some low impact and fun activities.
Plus, if you're like most other women I speak to, you'll probably need a way to stick to the plan without reaching a plateau or getting bored.
There are many ways to approach this, and this article is just an example of how easy it can be to get started.
But don't stop here! Make sure you research more ways to melt body fat quickly, without starving yourself.
After all, that special wedding day should never be brought down by a lack of confidence.
