Dominion Peoples K-12 Math and Science Programs

• The Dominion Peoples Fund makes grant awards available through its Educational Partnership Grants Program. The program awards a total of $200,000 to strengthen science and math skills of children in grades K-12. The fund provides up to $5,000 to institutions of higher education, along with nonprofit organizations, to encourage the participation of professionals in the field of science. InvenTeams

• In conjunction with the Massachusetts Institute for Technology, InvenTeam grants are in place to encourage invention using a noncompetitive, team-based approach. Awards are used to generate excitement among grant beneficiaries regarding the invention process. Inventeam Fund awards up to $10,000 to 10 different high school teams nationwide. The National Science Foundation

• The National Science Foundation provides funding for the Science and Technology Center, which offers grant awards through its Integrative Partnership program. Grants are awarded for the purpose of advancing discovery and innovation beyond current knowledge. Roughly 11,000 institutions are funded each year. Funding amounts vary according to specific program requirements. National laboratories and industrial organizations are encouraged to apply.
  
  

Los Gatos Education Foundation

• The Los Gatos Education Foundation grant seeks to maintain and improve science instruction in grades K-8. The foundation awards $110,000 toward the implementation of a core curriculum and an environment that builds curiosity about how the world operates. The Los Gatos Education Foundation has distributed more than $7.7 million since its formation in 1982.
