How to Unlock the Software for Nokia Phones

• 1). Call your cell phone service provider first and ask for the unlocking code. They may give it to you. This is the easiest way to unlock your phone.
  
  
• 2). Download unlocking software for your phone. Several of these programs are available free online. This will use your serial number and other data to generate the proper unlocking code.
  
  
• 3). Look for your phones serial number. This is usually located underneath the battery, although on most Nokia phones you can pull up the serial number by typing *#06#. Write this number down. This number is also know as your IMEI number.
