The Green Movement Needs to Be Kept in Check
Perhaps, you have noticed the increasing speed of the green movement, almost to the point of being thrust down our throats.
We are told that we are doing this to prevent of further addiction to foreign oil and that this is the right solution.
Is it really? Now obviously no one likes pollution in their water or air, however there are some issues that must be addressed with this trend.
For instance some folks are taking advantage of the situation, and marketing green without actually having anything that is really green to offer.
I see that the green movement is often in "name only" and there are lots of hypocrites as well as "quick-buck" entrepreneurs willing to put the words:
In fact, I have in my retirement been asked to help prepare and consult those writing business plans and the abuse from the get-go is quite obvious, everyone is looking for the "Green Angle" rather than truly working to solve the problems of pollution.
First, they create a product and then try to force the square peg into a Pentagon or Hexagon Bucky Ball hole.
I think the regulators are onto this sort of BS now, but I found many of the college students looking for Venture Capital all over the "green thing" and I found it disgusting.
I personally am not an environmentalist, as much as someone who looks for solutions and efficiency.
Polluting and waste are "Inefficient" and to me, that alone makes them evil, no matter how anyone justifies it.
