How to Put Music on My Palm Verizon Centro
- 1). Insert the microSD expansion card into your Palm Centro. This step is optional if you store your music on a Windows-based PC. However, a microSD card is a requirement for transferring music from a Mac to the Palm Centro.
- 2). Connect your Palm Centro to your computer or laptop using the USB sync cable. Connect the USB cable to your Palm Centro first---you will find the sync connector on the bottom right of the back of your phone. Next connect the USB cable to the USB slot of your computer or laptop.
- 3). Press the applications button on your Centro; it is located under the display screen to the upper right of the center navigation button. Select "Ptunes."
- 4). Windows Users: Go to "Start," select "Applications" and open "Windows Media Player" to launch your media player. Next select the "Sync" tab. Under that tab select "Set Up Sync" and then select "Finish." After the computer finishes processing the setup, return to the "Sync" tab and then manually select the playlists and files you want to transfer. Once you have completed your selections, click "Start Sync" and your files will be transferred.
Mac Users: Select your hard drive icon to open your hard drive. Click on the "Applications" folder and open your "Palm" folder. Inside this folder you will find a droplet entitled "Send to Handheld." Drag and drop the files you want to transfer to the droplet. Next, select your device name, the file name, and the device (your microSD card). Click "OK" to begin the sync.
