Hi, I¡¯m T. Cooper. I¡¯m a New York City makeup artist, hairstylist, and co-founder of beauty and grooming company, Metro Look. Today, I¡¯m going to show you how to get school glue out of your hair. It can happen to your kids, it can happen to you playing with your kids, or if you work in a school. So, as you can see, my model has glue in her hair, which is kind of gross, but you know what? Life goes on. And, the good thing about these glues is they¡¯re not as strong as, like, Elmer's Glue or those cement-based glues. They¡¯re water-based, so they¡¯re pretty easy to get out. You can either, quite simply, wash your hair with shampoo and it¡¯ll come out, or if you really don¡¯t have time, you can just use some water. So, I have a little water bottle right here, and a fine-tooth comb. And, you can use paper towel, a regular towel. And then, when you¡¯re done, you can just blow dry it or let it air dry. So, I¡¯m just going to show you. So, what I¡¯m going to do is, I¡¯m just going to take the hair. I don¡¯t want to use the towel quite just yet and try to slide it off, because what that¡¯s going to do is just spread it around. Just want to loosen it up for now. Spray that water on ¨C that¡¯s why you want to use a fine-tooth comb, because you want to pick up as much product. You¡¯re not sliding it all the way down just from where it is. And, as you¡¯re noticing, the glue is starting to transfer onto the comb. So, as you get the product off, you just want to wipe, because you don¡¯t want to redistribute it. And, just keep going. See? It¡¯s coming off. Fine-toothed comb and some water, and you picked up the product. And then now, when you¡¯re pretty sure that you¡¯ve got it all, or you don¡¯t see that white anymore ¨C as you can see, there¡¯s no more white in her hair. I¡¯m just going to go a little bit more, wipe it off, and I take a blow dryer, I¡¯m just going to go over it. You can use a comb or a brush during this step, but I just don¡¯t feel a need to ¨C it¡¯s only a small section of hair. But, if it was a bigger section, you can take your roller brush or a paddle brush ¨C whatever you use when you blow dry your hair, a comb. And then, you¡¯re done. See, now she¡¯s got glue-free hair. I¡¯m T. Cooper, thank you so much for watching.
