Lakewood Country Club - Lakewood, NJ

• The Lakewood Country Club is located in Lakewood, New Jersey, about 35 miles east of Trenton, New Jersey, and about 60 miles south of New York City. Willie Dunn, Jr. designed the course in 1892. The course is owned and operated by the Lakewood Country Club, which is also home to a restaurant and banquet hall. The course measures 6,248 yards from the back tees and has a par of 71, slope rating of 118 and course rating of 71.7. 2010 greens fees are $31 on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $38 on weekends and holidays. Twilight rates are effective after 1 p.m. ($24/weekdays, $28/weekends) and after 4 p.m. ($16 everyday).

Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis - Little Egg Harbor, NJ

• The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is located in Little Egg Harbor, about 75 miles southeast of Trenton, New Jersey and about 100 miles south of New York City. George Fazio, the late uncle of legendary golf course architect Tom Fazio, designed the course, which is owned and operated by the Ocean County Department of Parks & Recreation. The course measures 6,848 yards from the back tees and has a par of 72, slope rating of 134 and course rating of 73.6. Greens fees are $35 on weekdays and $42 on weekends and holidays. Discounted twilight rates are available in the afternoon. Additionally, discounted golf rates are available to county residents who hold a valid Golf ID Card.

• The Ocean County Golf Course at Forge Pond is an 18-hole executive golf course located in Brick, New Jersey, about 45 miles east of Trenton, New Jersey and about 65 miles south of New York City. Hal Purdy designed the course, which opened for play in 1989. The golf course is owned and operated by the Ocean County Department of Parks & Recreation. The course measures 3,916 yards from the back tees and has a par of 60, slope rating of 98 and course rating of 59.4. Greens fees are $24 on weekdays and $28 on weekends and holidays. Discounted twilight rates are available in the afternoon. Additionally, discounted golf rates are available to county residents who hold a valid Golf ID Card.
