Brooke Shields

• Brooke Shields held the leading role as Susan in "Suddenly Susan." She starred in all the show's 93 episodes. Most of the show's plots revolved around naive Susan learning to live again as a single woman working in a big city. • Todd Stites was played by David Strickland from Long Island, New York. Strickland was Susan's co-worker and the magazine's music critic. He has also starred in movies such as "Forces of Nature" with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck. Tragically, Strickland committed suicide in 1999 during the third season of "Suddenly Susan."
