In case you have not yet gotten to the previous article in this set, we covered the following: Your website or page's reputation, in regards to the search engines; Attracting inbound links, and where to attract them to, and creating timelines for in your descriptions or overviews of products, services, or organizations you may be promoting.
Now lets get on with the next items to help you get more traffic now.
One way that comes fiercely into my mind, is creating a "take a break" page for your website or blog.
Something entertaining to give to your audience, will go a long ways, in not only keeping people at your web location, but also to give them more reasons to come back.
If the traffic visiting you, can not only view your products, or services, and or handle their tasks in the back office they have with you, but they also may take a break to just chat with others who take part in your site, or enter a free drawing or something, then you are creating a richer environment.
Diversify yourself, your site, and your sources of material.
The more diverse your presence is, (While staying with a general theme), the more folks will come, stay and spend time, and RETURN to your site.
The more you can create for one topic the better.
There are cases where being diverse in regards to industry is beneficial, but for the most part, your broad ranged theme should be stuck to, while you come up with lost of material for a smaller number of topics within this theme, this will help your site become a magnet for traffic.
Become the guru of what you do or love.
Offering "bumper to bumper" expertise for a specific industry or business genre, do this and you will be successful.
This next one I want you to really make use of.
It is something you can do every where you are present on the internet.
BE DESCRIPTIVE.
What do I mean? Well, every product you have can be used as an opportunity to use keyword rich descriptions, therefore associated with you and your site, helps your search engine rankings dramatically.
Leave keyword rich descriptions when leaving your bio anywhere, do the same when talking about what you do, or what your site can do.
If you can, then make your name in your social media platform display as a keyword you target, even a keyword rich text link if possible to use HTML in the field provided for your name.
Trust me, being more descriptive is a huge fuel, for your traffic to get to you, know about you, and recognize you.
As always my friend, I am truly thankful that you have again, shared your time with me.
I am grateful to see people like yourself who actively pursue improvement, and strive to make there efforts more efficient and effective.
