Bible Crafts - A Fun and Exciting Craft For Your Sunday School Class
Sunday school may not be something that your students look forward to...
unless you include exciting activities and interactive Bible crafts into your curriculum.
Give the following craft a try and get your children's church students excited for next week! Beaded Cross Necklace Sunday School Activity For this Bible craft, you'll need the following for each student: *30 inches of leather lacing such as a suede cord *7 blue beads *1 white bead *Glue Getting Your Sunday School Class to Make the Craft First, instruct your children's church students to fold their cord in half, holding onto the folded end.
They should then push two of the blue beads onto the folded end of the cord.
Be sure to tell them to leave a small amount of cord below the blue beads.
Next, your kids will put one blue bead on each piece of cord from the other end (the unfolded end).
The final three blue beads should be pushed onto this same end; however, instruct your Sunday school class to thread these beads on both of the cord strings instead of just one.
These two ends should then be tied together in a knot.
Push two of the beads towards the knot, and push the other beads (that are on both strings) towards the blue beads that were individually strung.
Next, put a white bead sideways (the open ends of the bead should be between the two blue beads).
Now push the double-strung bead down until it tightens the necklace, holding the white bead in place.
To be sure that the white bead will stay in place, have your students add some glue to the area.
Once the Bible craft is dry, give them to your class to show off to their friends and family or even to give away to a close friend! Sunday school activities such as this one that give your children's church students something to bring home are sure to get them excited for the next class.
They'll be thrilled to find out what exciting Bible crafts they can participate in during the next Sunday school get together.
