Side Effects of Novo-Metformin
- Some Novo-Metformin patients have reported mental related side effects that result from low blood sugar. Unusually anxious feelings and nervousness were reported in some people. Confusion and difficulty concentrating have occurred. Some people complained of nightmares or restless sleep. - Novo-Metformin patients need to take some precautions before they begin treatment with this drug. According to the Mayo Clinic, alcohol consumption can result in excessively low blood sugar while using this drug. Patients must notify their doctors of all prescription and over-the-counter medications they are taking. Aspirin, appetite control medications and allergy medications can have significant drug interactions with Novo-Metformin. Skipping a dose of this medication can result in high blood sugar levels.
