How Do I Replace a Luminox Watch Battery?

    • 1). Replace the battery of your Luminox watch every two to 10 years. For some models, the second hand will begin moving in intervals of four seconds, rather than one second, when the battery needs replacing. Otherwise, your watch will stop.

    • 2). Visit the "Service Centers" page of the Luminox website (see Resources) to find a qualified watchmaker. The battery of your watch should be replaced only by a Luminox-qualified watchmaker, according to Luminox.com.

    • 3). Select your country from the drop-down list at the top of the page. A list of qualified Luminox watchmakers will appear on your screen. Depending on your location, you may have to send your Luminox watch in to get the battery replaced.

    • 4). Download the "Repair Estimate and Return Form" from the Luminox website (see Resources).

    • 5). Print the "Repair Estimate and Return Form" and fill it out completely. Include your warranty information and check "Battery Change" under "Repair Category." Provide your credit information.

    • 6). Send your Luminox watch and the Repair Estimate and Return Form to one of the Luminox watchmakers on the list. If you're located near one of the watchmakers, you can bring your watch to them in person. Any watchmaker that does not appear on the list generated by Luminox.com is not an authorized service partner and taking your watch there could void your warranty.
