    Get Rid of BrowseItNow in Internet Explorer

    • 1). Launch Internet Options from the "Tools" main menu toolbar at the top of the Web browser window. Internet Options will appear in a new dialog pop-up window over the browser.

    • 2). Click the "Privacy" tab option on the Internet Options menu.

    • 3). Go to the Settings' section in the Privacy menu and click the "Sites" button to access the Per Site Privacy Actions.

    • 4). Add the BrowseItNow URL address in the "Address of Website" in the text field.

    • 5). Click the "Block" action located on the right side of the "Address of Website" text field. BrowseItNow will be moved to the Managed Websites table of the Per Site Privacy Actions' window. The BrowseItNow URL will be listed under "Domain" and the setting should read "Always Block."

    • 6). Click the "OK" button below the Managed Websites table to make the change permanent. BrowseItNow will no longer be available for access in the Web browser.

    Get Rid of BrowseItNow in FireFox

    • 1). Open the FireFox Web browser on your computer.

    • 2). Go to the "Tools" menu and access "ProCon." The ProCon Settings window should open to the General menu options.

    • 3). Check all four General Settings boxes and click the "Set Password" button in the left pane.

    • 4). Create a new password in the "Type Your Password" text field when the Protect Settings box appears.

    • 5). Reenter the same password in the "Retype Your Password" text field to confirm spelling accuracy.

    • 6). Click "Apply Password" below the two text fields. This action will require all users to enter the password when attempting to access BrowseItNow.

    • 7). Select the "Main Filter" tab on the ProCon Settings menu at the top of its window. Then, click "Edit List."

    • 8). Enter "BrowseItNow" and its URL Web address in the "Blocked Sites" box.

    • 9). Click "Apply" at the bottom of the Blocked Sites box to save the changes.

    Block BrowseItNow in Safari

    • 1). Access the System Preferences on the Mac OS.

    • 2). Click "Parental Controls" under the System section of the System Preferences menu.

    • 3). Look in the left pane of the screen and select the account in which you'd like to block BrowseItNow in the Safari Web browser.

    • 4). Select the "Enable Parental Controls" option to configure the Safari Web browser settings.

    • 5). Click "Content" in the Parental Controls window.

    • 6). Go to "Customize" under the Website Restrictions section in the Content window.

    • 7). Click "Never Allow," hit the plus sign icon and add the BrowseItNow URL address to the list of websites that should be denied access in the Safari browser.
