How to Make MySpace Custom Web Pages
- 1). Log in or create an account at MySpace.com. Click on the "Profile" drop-down menu and then choose the "Customize Profile" option.
- 2). Individualizing your page starts in the "Customize Profile" section. Here, two sections are available: "Appearance," which allows you to change the theme and layout of your page, and "Modules," which contains 20 modules that can be added to the page for further customization.
- 3). Clicking on the "Customize Profile" button take you to the "Profile 2.0---Customize Profile" page. Here, the screen is split into two sections; one showing the tools used to personalize your MySpace page; the other showing you your actual profile page.

Clicking on the "Select Theme" option allows you to choose one of 142 backgrounds, everything from sports themes to musical themes to seasons to abstract graphics, as well as many more. - 2). Personalizing the layout is simple. Clicking on the "Change Layout" button offers you nine options that define how your modules will be displayed on the page.
- 3). Clicking on the "Advance Edit" function allows you to personalize the background, as well as the page's content, including each individual module's color, text font and mouse-over behavior.
- 4). Adding cascading style sheets (CSS) creates a truly unique style. By clicking on the "CSS" button, you can add your own code to create one-of-a-kind web pages.
- 1). Adding and removing modules is done in the Modules section. Simply clicking on a module adds or subtracts it from your page.
- 2). Positioning the module on your page is done by dragging and dropping it into the desired location.
- 3). Using common modules as Groups, Blogs, Music Players and Calendars is expected, so also use more personal ones, such as Status and Mood and Interests.
- 1). Publishing is easy. After you settle on your themes, modules and layout, simply click on the "Publish" button at the top right.
- 2). Finalizing the changes requires okaying the "Published! Your Changes Have Been Published" pop-up message that appears.
- 3). Clicking "OK" confirms the changes you made, and your new personalized main page will then appear.
