Removing Oil Stains From a Concrete Floor
- 1). Pour hot tap water onto the oil stains to encourage the oil to rise to the surface of the concrete floor.
- 2). Equip yourself with work gloves and eye protection before handling the concrete degreaser.
- 3). Remove the cover from the garden sprayer and carefully pour the concrete degreaser into the plastic tank.
- 4). Pump the tank to build up pressure, then thoroughly soak each oil stain by spraying it. Wait for the degreaser to break apart the stain for 15 to 20 minutes before continuing.
- 5). Power wash away the degreaser and oil stain from the concrete surface. Be sure to aim the power washer so that the degreaser is sent away from any surrounding walls.
