Product Review: Wisk Deep Clean Power Blasts
About.com Rating
Wisk was introduced to U.S. households in 1956 as the first commercial liquid laundry detergent. Now the iconic detergent is available in the latest laundry innovation - single dose packets. Maybe this is a great new blast from the past!
Wisk Deep Clean PowerBlasts
Wisk Deep Clean PowerBlasts are a single dose laundry detergent product that is added directly to the washer before each load of laundry.
The packets are safe for both high efficient and standard washers, septic systems and dissolve completely in all temperatures of water - including cold.
The packets are added directly to the drum of the washer. Never place in an automatic dispenser. Most loads require only one packet; however two packets are recommended for large or heavily soiled loads of laundry.
The listed ingredients for Wisk Deep Clean PowerBlasts are:
- Cleaning agents (anionic and/or nonionic surfactants and enzymes)
- Stabilizer

Laundry Recommendations
I have a love/dislike affair with single-dose laundry products.
- I love the ease of use.
- I love the no waste benefit.
- I love the smaller storage space needed.
- I dislike the ability to pretreat stains.
- I dislike the ability to adjust amount of detergent if I'm doing a small load.
But when it comes right down to it, I love single-dose packets especially when they work well to clean clothes. Wisk Deep Clean PowerBlasts work really well.
Wisk Deep Clean is a powerful, heavy duty detergent that works exceptionally well on stains, body oils and sweat. Wisk Deep Clean PowerBlasts bring that same cleaning power with the ease of a single dose packet.
I recommend that these find a spot on your laundry shelf right next to the bottle of detergent that you can use for pretreating heavy stains!
