Mylo (cream tabby) was adopted in April of 2005, and Zeke (ginger tabby) was adopted in September of 2005. Mylo is now around seven years old, and Zeke is around four years old. Mylo had been the Humane Society for nearly six months before we found him. My husband and I have always loved cats and wanted to bring a first pet into our home. Mylo was the biggest cat at the Humane Society, and we just could not say no to his big, beautiful blue eyes.

Mylo had previously been in an abusive home, so we knew that we would have to give him extra love and care. He is still scared of some older men, however, he is much better adjusted nowadays. Zeke came along shortly after Mylo. We wanted to get a playmate for Mylo while we were away during the day. Zeke had not been at the Humane Society as long as Mylo had, but he had chlamydia in his eye. This made his eye weepy , and it was mostly closed. We knew that not many others would pick Zeke on account that he did not look "perfect." He was perfect to us though.

After a few days of keeping Zeke isolated we finally let the boys meet. They took to each other almost immediately. In fact, this picture was taken just 3 days after we introduced them to each other! Even today Mylo and Zeke are hardly separable. If one has to go to the veterinarian the other one waits near the door until they come home.

Mylo loves to play with his crinkle balls. We have dubbed this activity "Kitty Soccer." He will chase the crinkle balls from one house to the other for hours before getting tuckered out.

He also loves to play on his cat scratch tower, and watch the birds and squirrels from the living room window. Not to be outdone though, Zeke "barks" at the birds in an attempt to entice them closer. Zeke also LOVES feet! We have never met another cat who likes feet as much. He will follow us around the house just trying to get a rub (or a nibble) in. Our lives are much changed since we adopted Mylo and Zeke. We have since adopted a third cat (not pictured) named Elton. We would not give up our boys for anything!
