How to Disable a Personal Car Remote
- 1). Enter your car with your key and remote on hand. Open the driver's door and close all of the other doors. Unlock the doors using the tab on the driver's side door.
- 2). Insert and remove the key from the ignition twice, close and open the driver's door twice and then insert and remove the key from the ignition once more.
- 3). Close and open the driver's door two more times, insert the key into the ignition, then close the driver's door and turn the ignition to "On" and then back to "Off."
- 4). Remove your key from the ignition again and wait for the door locks to cycle again. This will open the programming sequence and at this point you should not touch any of your remotes. This will leave the programming sequence open and the remotes inactive. Close the driver's door to end the process.
