    Cheese Bites

    • These little balls have a pleasant appearance and a sharp but nice taste. Because of their small size, they are perfect for someone who enjoys cheese and is looking for salty flavor but does not want to indulge in too many calories or grams of fat.

They can be made quickly and easily with 1/2 cup of butter, 1 cup flour, 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Mix everything together, shape into small balls, and bake for about 10 minutes.

    Salmon and Cucumber Bites

    • This is a healthy alternative that provides just enough of a satisfying fullness, while also fulfilling a craving for something sweet and creamy.

They are easy to make by simply mixing together one package of soft cheese, one can of drained red salmon, a few pinches of fresh dill, 1 tablespoon of sour cream, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a teaspoon each of chopped chives and plain yogurt. When this mixture is smooth and creamy, spread it thickly on sliced cucumbers or layer with cucumbers on a cracker for a more filling option.

    Crudite Platter

    • Crudites are sliced vegetables, usually accompanied by a vinaigrette or similar dressing. For a classy and sophisticated crudite platter perfect for the upscale spa clientele, try slicing fresh broccoli, cauliflower, string beans, three colors of pepper, and carrots and include a side of roasted garlic aioli for dipping.

      Roasted Garlic Aioli:

Bake one head of garlic at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until soft. Squeeze out the garlic and combine with 1/4 cup of eggs, 6 ounces of marinated artichoke hearts, the juice of one lemon, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix in a food processor. Slowly mix in 1/2 cup of canola oil and 1/4 cup of olive oil.

    Pizza Wheels

    • Pizza is always popular and these small and tasty pizza wheels are no exception. They can be made by spreading out a thin sheet of pastry dough and layering on tomato sauce, cheese and vegetables. Roll up the sheet like a jelly roll and slice into 1 inch pieces. Lay the pieces on a tray and bake for 12 minutes at 400 degrees.

    Cheese Fondue

    • A fondue fountain is sure to make a splash, both literally and figuratively, because of its delicate appearance and enticing taste. Fill a fondue fountain with your choice of cheese and surround the base with sliced vegetables, crackers and bread sticks.
