As you might know a ton of energy drinks have made it into the market the last few years and have become all the rage, particularly among teenagers.
The commercializing of these drinks hype the super get-up-and-go and increased performance that you'll find from these drinks.
But before you take the bait and run out and purchase a bunch of your favorite energy drink, you should answer a few questions first.

Are these energy booster drinks really any good for you? 2.
Do they really boost your stamina? 3.
Is there really fantastic supernatural formula in these drinks? 4.
Can they actually assist you in weight loss? Every time you pick up a can or bottle of one of these energy boosting beverages, look into the ingredients.
Fizzing water, abdominal and butt fattening high sugar corn syrup, caffeine, guarana, taurine, and a few vitamins thrown in to fake you into trusting they are really healthy.
Lets look at the high fructose corn syrup.
Can you say empty calories? Can you say make me fat? Are you aware of the fact that high fructose corn syrup is worse for you than plain old refined sugar.
As far as shedding pounds because of these get-up-and-go drinks, I say a resounding "not even"! Now consider caffeine and guarana.
Actually, neither one supplies energy.
Both caffeine and guarana are central nervous system stimulants.
Reliable vitality come from food calories (protein, carbohydrates, and fat).
If you feel like you are craving a caffeine boost, try getting it from natural drinks like oolong or green tea, which by the way have antioxidants.
Finally lets take a look at the "magical combination" of taurine and B-vitamins that are in these energy drinks? Protein is a great source of taurine.
And virtually all of the B-vitamins are excreted by your body when you urinate.
Have you gone through the "energy drink come-down yet"? Another reason to avoid these beverages like the plague.
Sure you may receive a CNS shock for a brief term, but the let down as a result of energy boosting drinks can be real uncomfortable.
Simply put, energy drinks should be avoided.
Try your own energy boosting beverage utilizing pure fruits and vegetables and maybe mixing in some good whey protein.
