How to Troubleshoot a Microsoft Wireless Headset
- 1). Charge the headset for at least four hours before using it.
- 2). Check the USB receiver to make sure it is properly connected to your PC.
- 3). Press the "+" button on the headset to make sure the volume is up and the sound is not muted.
- 4). Use the headset with a different software application if you're having trouble with a certain program. If the headset works with another application, the first program you used is at fault--not the headset.
- 5). Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive and attempt to reinstall the headset applications and drivers. If a problem occurred during the first installation, a reinstall may fix any issues you're experiencing with your headset.
