How to Remove Crayon Stains - Fresh or Melted - From Clothes
Crayons are usually the first art supply of our childhood. Creating a masterpiece is magical as colors appear. But what about those rainbow colored stains?
How to Remove Crayon Stains From Clothes
To remove crayon marks from clothing or even melted crayons left in pockets after a trip through the dryer, use WD-40 lubricant and dish washing liquid.
Put a folded white paper towel under the fabric and spray WD-40 lubricant onto a clean white cloth and dab it on both sides of the stain.
Next, rub a bit of dishwashing liquid into the crayon mark. Let the paper towel absorb the crayon stain. When the stain seems to have disappeared, launder according to the garments care label directions.
If the garment is dry clean only, point out and identify the stain to your professional cleaner. If you are using a home dry cleaning kit, be sure to treat the stain with the provided stain remover before putting the garment in the dryer bag.
