How to Remove a CD From a Mac Book Without Power
- 1). Place the Mac Book on a table so the end that has the disc slot in it overlaps the edge of the table. Tear off the cover from a paper match book. Insert the match book cover in the slot on the Mac Book, below the CD, leaving just a little of the cover sticking out.
- 2). Place a CD label side down on the table. Apply strips of double-sided cellophane tape to the top of the CD.
- 3). Insert the CD, double-sided cellophane tape side down, into the slot above the CD that is already inside. Stop inserting the CD when it is about halfway in the slot.
- 4). Push down on the CD to engage the double-sided cellophane tape to the top of the CD that is already inside the slot.
- 5). Pull the CD out of the slot slowly. Grab hold the edge of the CD that was already in the slot once it exits the slot. Pull both of the CDs out of the slot.
- 6). Remove the match book cover from inside the slot. Separate the two CDs. Remove the double-sided cellophane tape from the CD. Dispose of the match book cover and the double-sided cellophane tape in the trash.
